Option: Variable Transformation
➢x-> F(f*x); F(x)=
The x-values of the original data set are replaced by those computed by applying a transformation function, F(x) and a scaling factor, f. The scaling factor can be entered in the next line and the following transformation functions can be selected ox
no transformation function is applied osqrt(x)
x is replaced by sqrt(x) o1/x
x is replaced by 1/x o1/sqrt(x)
x is replaced by 1/sqrt(x) olog10(x)
x is replaced by log10(x) oln(x)
x is replaced by ln(x) ➢f
x is replaced by f*x before applying the selected transformation function
➢y-> F(f*y); F(y)=
The y-values of the original data set are replaced by those computed by applying a transformation function, F(x) and a scaling factor, f. The scaling factor can be entered in the next line and the following transformation functions can be selected oy
no transformation function is applied osqrt(y)
y is replaced by sqrt(y) o1/y
y is replaced by 1/y o1/sqrt(y)
y is replaced by 1/sqrt(y) olog10(y)
y is replaced by log10(y) oln(y)
y is replaced by ln(y) ➢f
y is replaced by f*y before applying the selected transformation function Option: Display
